SPIN: Take your cardio to the next level! Whether you’re a serious cyclist or just starting out, this class offers a hard-core workout in a safe, non-impact way.
Spin & Sculpt: We’ll combine the cardiovascular benefits of cycling, with the strengthening/toning benefits of weights to round out your workout. From beginner to advanced, anyone can enjoy this non-impact workout.
Strength Training Classes
Burn & Firm Bootcamp: This advanced level class does it all! We will combine agility, speed, strength, cardio, core, and balance training to provide you with a full-body workout! Come prepared to work hard and sweat!
Butts & Guts: Tighten up those loose ends with this 60-minute low-impact class which zeroes in on strengthening and toning the lower body from the abs on down.
Senior Session: “Quality of Life:” For the senior who desires a high quality of life, this class is designed for you. From carrying groceries, to lifting your grandchildren, to improving your balance and flexibility, this class will safely strengthen your body to move through life and the various activities you want to enjoy! This is a 45-minute class.
TRX (Total Body Resistance Exercise): TRX is a body weight based, functional and dynamic strength program that develops strength, balance, flexibility, and core stability. It was developed by a Navy Seal, and trains your body in a non-impact, 3-D, functional manner. This class is appropriate for all fitness levels. Make your body your machine with TRX training!
TRX Intervals: This class combines the strength and core focus of TRX with cardiovascular intervals to burn calories and strengthen your body all in one class!
Barre: Barre class uses a combination of ballet, yoga, and Pilates elements. The barre is used for balance as you perform exercises that focus on isometric strength training (holding your body still while you contract a specific set of muscles), combined with high repetitions of small range-of-motion movements. The class will often incorporate light handheld weights, mats, and small resistance balls for targeted core work. You’ll leave this class feeling stronger and longer!
Yoga: Yoga is an ancient art based on a harmonizing system of development for the body, mind, and spirit. The practice of yoga makes the body strong and flexible, it also improves the functioning of the respiratory, circulatory, digestive, and hormonal systems. Yoga brings about emotional stability and clarity of mind. This yoga class will take the body through mobility-increasing, muscle-lengthening and core-strengthening movements to improve your overall strength and flexibility
